To order your Ecoplate by mail, please download and complete a Special Interest License Plate Application form (REG 17) and either mail it or bring it to your local DMV office.

Mail orders are also good for renewal, retention (if you want to set aside an Ecoplate for future use), replacement (if you lose your Ecoplate), conversion (if you want to convert a personalized plate to a personalized Ecoplate), or transfer (if you want to transfer your Ecoplate to a different car) of a special interest license plate.

You can check on the availability of your personalized license plate number by completing Steps 1 and 2 at the Department of Motor Vehicles secure website.

Please note: the minimum browser level needed to display an image of the personalized plate you create is Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape Navigator 6.0, or equivalent. The availability of the license plate configuration you reserve on the DMV website is subject to final approval by DMV.
